The Press Operator responds to work orders, set up, operates, troubleshoots press and performs direct physical activity to complete work order in a timely manner while meeting the customer's quality specifications.
Key
Responsibilities:
Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.
Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest of quality specifications.
The press operator ensures that their press and work area is cleaned during their shift and before shift end, including disposing all trash and plastic bags, cleaning ink spills, clean all used screens and squeegees by scrapping of excess ink and put in the proper area.
The press operator ensures that their press is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.
